About Ochrine
Ochrine is a free social network for artists, galleries and collectors. Every artist has a world to share.
What the platform does
An artist publishes their catalogue — work, technique, dimensions, price — and the profile becomes public and searchable, at no cost. Galleries open calls, artists apply, and collectors find work they would not otherwise see.
The free plan is not a sample: it covers publishing a catalogue, applying to exhibitions and being found. Paid plans exist for those who need more room and more reach.
The name
Ochrine comes from ochre — the first pigment human beings used, the one on the cave walls of Lascaux, Altamira and Serra da Capivara. The symbol is an open ring, drawn with a finger, which is also the "o" of the word.
