What we talked about last night…

A deep, almost physical silence spreads across the surface. The dark blue becomes a space where sound has ceased — and yet the painting is filled with traces.

Yellow, violet and pale lines emerge, repeat, break off and disappear. They feel like quiet afterimages: movements, thoughts or words that can no longer be heard, but still remain present.

Here, silence is not an absence. It is a space of resonance. The quieter the surface becomes, the more strongly the gestures appear. They seem to search for something, to suggest something without ever fully articulating it.

The painting exists between stillness and inner movement — an echo of what remains when the sound is gone.
